While I was out tooling around on my bike yesterday I can across a sight that’s becoming more and more common around here: a box at the end of a driveway with an assortment of veggies in it, a price list, and a tin for you to deposit your cash in. I’m not sure what we call them around here, but I’ve seen YouTubers in England calling them trust boxes. Anyway, having some cash on me and a bike set up that actually allows you to carry stuff, I picked up a nice looking butter nut squash for $1. It looked like a few others had stopped and picked up a couple things as well. I think it’s a great way to share around some excess garden produce and getting to partake made me happy.
