We had an absolutely stunning day today and with afternoon temps in the low 50’s there was nothing better than breaking out the road bike and taking it for a spin around town.
Some people may balk at the whole #optoutside deal, and yes, obviously, people were using the day after Thanksgiving for outdoor adventures long before REI branded it and stuck a hashtag on it. But, I do think they did all of us all a solid by providing a counter narrative to Black Friday, starting a conversation about outdoor adventures, and leading by example by giving most of their folks the day off to go adventuring.
