I’m the kind of person that has to get outside and go for a little adventure at least every couple of days or I start to go a little crazy. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, matter of fact it’s doing lots of little things that start at my front door: just close the door, lock it, and walk or bike away and let the adventure begin that I like the most.
It had been a while since I went for a walk though Putnam Park, a 200 or so acre natural area along the south bank of the Chippewa River, so that was todays destination. The river’s running fairly low right now, so there’s a little bit of beach here and there, that’s normally under water, you can walk on. I noticed that I wasn’t the only one taking advantage of the low water, there were quite a few terns and crows hanging out on the sandbars in the river looking to score a fish for lunch.
Here’s few pics from this morning’s walk.
