There’s a short, but rather picturesque, creek that runs through part of the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire campus. It’s officially listed at Little Niagara Creek, but I’ve only ever heard of it being called The Creek.
Today’s pic was taken right at the creek’s outfall into the Chippewa River. This was shot using a Pentax DSLR with a Pentax 50mm macro lens and would you just look at that yummy color and light! I don’t use that lens very often, but I’m going to start using it a lot more as the color and light that come out of it are fairly amaze-balls.
