Pretty Afternoon In Eau Claire
It was an absolutely beautiful day today and rather warm for February in Wisconsin. I feel lucky that I got to spend some time outside and get some sun on my face.
A Dark And Snowy Day
I don’t remember what the temperature was on the day I took this, but I remember it feeling much colder than it really was. It was also dark and overcast that day. I think this photo picks up that cold, dark, and overcast winters day vibe well.
Digging The Blues
Generally speaking, I’m not one for overcast winter days. But, this winter has been super overcast and I’m rather enjoying “finding the photo” that’s hidden in my very low contrast, low/flat colored surroundings.

I took this the other day while walking to the library to pickup a book. And people wonder why I don’t drive very often… Once you start to see all the beauty you miss while riding in a car it become quite hard to convince yourself to get back in your car.
