It was an absolutely beautiful day today and rather warm for February in Wisconsin. I feel lucky that I got to spend some time outside and get some sun on my face.

Generally speaking, I’m not one for overcast winter days. But, this winter has been super overcast and I’m rather enjoying “finding the photo” that’s hidden in my very low contrast, low/flat colored surroundings.
I took this the other day while walking to the library to pickup a book. And people wonder why I don’t drive very often… Once you start to see all the beauty you miss while riding in a car it become quite hard to convince yourself to get back in your car.
I need to start getting up earlier, winter mornings around here tend to be rather pretty.
While out on a walk on Christmas Day I realized that while I have a bunch of photos of the Pablo Center I didn’t have one from this perspective. So, fixed that.
I’m originally from the Seattle area, AKA the darkest place in the lower 48. Which isn’t so great when you have a fairly whopping dose of Seasonal Effective Disorder.
