Normally on a warm for Wisconsin winter’s Sunday, with a bright blue sky above, I’d be out on my bicycle. But, this winter I’m pretty into taking tramps around town and while it was a warm and sunny Sunday it was also fairly humid and I just can not stay warm in cold temps withContinue reading “Sunday Tramp”

UWEC Creek
There’s a short, but rather picturesque, creek that runs through part of the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire campus. It’s officially listed at Little Niagara Creek, but I’ve only ever heard of it being called The Creek. Today’s pic was taken right at the creek’s outfall into the Chippewa River. Everyday Adventure- Putnam Park
I’m the kind of person that has to get outside and go for a little adventure at least every couple of days or I start to go a little crazy. First stop was Bullhead Pond, which I’ve been to many time before and is a great hangout. Next I headed for the Eau Claire County Forest, which is just down theContinue reading “Poking Around East Of Town”
Lay Of The Land
I grabbed one of yesterday’s photos and an older photo to show the lay-of the land around here. I was standing on the bridge in the background of the top photo to take the bottom photo. Looking at the bottom photo the trail in the top photo is about half way up the bank onContinue reading “Lay Of The Land”
