I don’t remember what the temperature was on the day I took this, but I remember it feeling much colder than it really was. It was also dark and overcast that day. I think this photo picks up that cold, dark, and overcast winters day vibe well.
Generally speaking, I’m not one for overcast winter days. But, this winter has been super overcast and I’m rather enjoying “finding the photo” that’s hidden in my very low contrast, low/flat colored surroundings.
I need to start getting up earlier, winter mornings around here tend to be rather pretty.
This is downtown Eau Claire from last fall. I’ve been waiting for us to get a good proper snow day so I can get a winter shot. So far, no luck.
