It’s starting to look like a bad sci-fi film around here…
Some jokes never get old… I probably should have used a higher aperture* on this for just a touch more depth of field, but I still like how it turned out. *Shot using a macro lens that I don’t use that often and that has a shallower depth of field than I’m used to.
On most Sundays I go for a spin on my bike, but today started out with heavy overcast, temps in the mid-20’s, humid, and damp. The idea of spending two hours on a bike in that sort of weather just doesn’t appeal to me at all. The The Acoustic Cafe is one of just about everyone around here’s favorite places. The Acoustic serves up wonderful sandwiches, soups, and baked goods- their cinnamon rolls are The Bomb. Back in The Before Times they also had a concert or two a week. I always get a little nostalgia buzz when I show upContinue reading “The Acoustic Cafe”
The weather around here has been a bit miserable lately, but today marked a wonderful change with temps in the mid 20’s and it was wonderfully crisp and sunny. As is usually the case on days like today I took a spin around town on my bike and as is also usually the case IContinue reading “Blowing Out The Sunset”
